The Chicago Diwali Pop-up, co-hosted by the Chicago Fashion Coalition and Shop NYRAA, was an extraordinary event held on November 5, 2023, at the Epiphany Center of the Arts. This pop-up served as a vibrant celebration of South Asian fashion, featuring 12 local businesses such as Nyraa, Chaa Latte, and Blissveda. The event aimed to elevate style, support local talent, and celebrate diversity, addressing the community's need for authentic cultural representation. With over 600 attendees and coverage by WGN Daytime Chicago and Block Club Chicago, The pop-up aimed to spotlight the already vibrant South Asian fashion community in Chicago. From Devon Ave to State Street, our vendors provided premium, culturally rich luxury items, transforming local options into a rich display of traditional garments, skincare, and culinary delights.
